Winstina: THE PICTURE~and a book recommendation

THIS is why she was nicknamed Winstina Beanhill. "Hullo Mummy & Duddy" one can see her saying. Poor Mary Charlotte,....the digital camera never captures in correct proportions for some reason,....for example her nose is not in true scale with the rest of her face. The picture is hilarious though and shows why Winstina is called Winstina. In the photo she had just finished nursing and sleeping at the same time so she was 'milk drunk'. ;)

Miss Beanhill has purchased her third baby carrier/sling. This new aquisition is a Baby Bjorn and so far it has worked out nicely. She rode in it today for an errand and for a little while in the house while she watched Mummy clean the kitchen and prepare Duddy's sick food. A photo of Winstina in her new carrier will be provided sometime this week.

Miss Beanhill contnues to engage in conversation and very much likes for the attention remain on her.

Friday evening Miss Beanhill attended Mass at her parish run by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, St. Francis de Sales. She again, wore her pink poodle sweater, sweater pants, and pink beret (photo coming soon). She is very good at Mass and Adoration of the blessed Sacrament. She was also very good when she ate out with the group of friends from the parish. She earned the admiration of all with her laid back behavior.

The following is a book recommendation by Miss Beanhhill. In it one may read much more about Blessed Charlotte of the Resurrection whom she was named after.

from the publisher:

At the height of the French Revolution's "Great Terror," a community of sixteen Carmelite nuns from Compiègne offered their lives to restore peace to the church and to France. Ten days after their deaths by the guillotine, Robespierre fell, and with his exectuion on the same scaffold the Reign of Terror effectively ended. Had God thus accepted and used the Carmelites' generous self-gift?

At this hour Mary Charlotte is sleeping in her crib, where she will not remain , of course, she will sleep with Mummy and Duddy when they go to bed :)

This look says to me, "I know my beauty and good nature are being exploited by my parents but I am ready to make the best of it." Miss Rebekah very much empathizes with Miss Beanhill. The camera is unable to capture true beauty. Perhaps a portrait in oils. Miss Rebekah is suffering some beauty challenges of her own. Her hair has become quite thing but is still long in spots. She is being called Sprouty, a name she detests.
